Box

In craps, the box is a section of the craps table that acts as the chip bank of the table.

The bank is overseen by a staff member called the boxman. The job of the boxman is to manage the chip bank and keep an eye on the dealers. In most cases, the boxman is the only employee at the craps table who is allowed to be seated.
