Box Bet (Horse Racing)

A box bet, or boxing, is a horse racing bet placed on several horses. Most commonly, the following three types of box bets are made in horse racing:

Exacta (aka exactor, perfecta): When making such a bet, the bettor picks the two horses to come in the first positions, specifying the exact order in which they will come.

Trifecta: Similar to exacta, only now the bettor must pick the first three horses to finish.

Superfecta: Similar to exacta and trifecta, but with four horses being picked in the right order.
