Gamble (Slot Mechanic)

In the context of slot machine gambling, the term gamble refers to a feature that allows the player to wager their winnings after a successful spin in the hopes of doubling or quadrupling them.

After triggering the feature, players are usually presented with a choice such as coin side (heads/tails), result of a dice roll (odds or evens), and card colors (red/black), or card suits (hearts/clubs/spades/diamonds).

After the player makes the choice, the game tells them if they won. If they guess incorrectly, they lose their bet. If the player guesses correctly, they double or quadruple their winnings.

The player is usually then given the choice to gamble again for the chance of increasing their winnings even further.
