Like in a typical GamesLab release, everything in Royal Dragon’s background & main area is stationary and unexciting. A buzzkill to those who like high-caliber animations, but at least the loading and gameplay speeds are pretty fast.

The bet-select option is tucked away in the menu button. Set a bet ranging from €0.30-37.5, and you are good to go with the auto-play setting or the big manual spin button beside the grid. Alright, on we go to the algorithm statistics.

First is the Return to Player percentage rated 95.85%. That’s a below-average figure, though it can increase to 96.87% with feature buy. Second is the medium-high volatility, which means that streaks of good hits alternate with spells of dead & low-win spins.

Regulars only pay when lined up from the leftmost reel. They include four blackjack icons, a lotus flower, red paper lantern, Jin Chan, koi, shishi lion, and a Fenghuang. (Kodos! Somebody did their orient research with these symbols). The royal Chinese dragon, which the slot is named after, is wild, substituting for regulars to complete winning combinations where possible.

The actual payouts get determined by multiplying the winning symbol count with their corresponding values in the paytable, which are based on a €30 bet. So, assume you have the same bet in play (30 units), and you land five fishes, the payout will be 5 (winning symbol count) x 4 (value of the symbol displayed in the paytable) = 20.

Infinity Reels

Infinity Reels slots have three reels at default. If the rightmost reel improves the winning combination in any way, a reel gets added to the right. The new column is then spun, potentially leading to an improvement of the existing win, plus an expansion. There is no limit to the reel additions that can take place.

Symbol Multiplier

The game ships with an x1 symbol multiplier. It increases by +1 after each reel addition. The symbol multiplier doesn’t have a limit either.

Frenzy Spins

Any base game spin can turn frenzy. Frenzy spins feature an x2, x3, x4, or x5 win multiplier. The frenzy spin multiplier is applied to the symbol multiplier if both occur on the same spin.

Infinity Bonus

The infinity bonus (200x) gets awarded to those who manage to have 12 reels added on. Important to note, only the frenzy spin multiplier can get applied to the 200x awarded.

Free Spins

Five gongs on the reels trigger a payout equaling that of landing a blackjack icon. Seven free spins are awarded, as well, with each extra gong adding one additional round.

There are a few things to note. One, expansions continue like in the base game, only that the symbol multiplier does not reset between free spins. Two, if the free spins get triggered during a frenzy-spin, the symbol multiplier at free spins launch will include the frenzy multiplier. Third, the symbol multiplier increases by a value ranging from 1-5 on a winning spin. Fourth and finally, the symbol multiplier decreases by one on a non-winning round.

Free Spin Symbol Removal

Any symbol that awards a win during free spins gets eliminated for the duration of the session. Some eliminated symbols can be replaced by blanks. The good news is that scatters, wilds, and the premium (Fenghuang) is irremovable.

Free Spins Retrigger & Gamble

Any gong appearing during free spins awards an additional two rounds. You can also gamble the total winnings from free spins. The risk is too high, though.

Bonus Buy

The bonus buy option offers a non-conventional way of getting into the free spins for 66.7x bet approx. Nine free spins are awarded, with an initial symbol multiplier of up to 12x. This feature is available to some jurisdictions, though.
