Natural Blackjack

In the context of blackjack, a natural is a blackjack a player gets from the two cards of their starting hand. The term blackjack refers to getting 21 points. A natural blackjack can only be achieved by a combination of an Ace and a monkey card. 

Natural Blackjack Combinations:

• Ace and 10 (A 10)
• Ace and Jack (A J)
• Ace and Queen (A Q)
• Ace and King (A K)

Players can protect themselves against a natural blackjack by the dealer by placing an insurance bet. Such a bet can only be made if the dealer’s first card is an Ace.
