Brick (Blank)

Brick (or a blank) is a poker term used for a card that does not improve the value of the player‘s hand in any way.  These cards are called blanks or bricks because they are essentially worthless to the poker player.

For example, if a player needs a 10 to get a four of a kind combination, a 6 during the river would be a brick for them.

Blank (Brick):

  • A card that does not affect the poker player’s hand in any way
