Betting Round

In the context of gambling, a betting round is the wagering phase that occurs after the cards are dealt.

For example, in Texas Hold’em poker, the first betting round begins once the cards are dealt, the second one commences after the flop, the third after turn, and the final one starts after the last card is revealed (river)

A betting round ends when all active gamblers have bet the same amount of money or everyone, except for one player, folds to the previous bet/raise.
