Base

In casino games, a player’s base refers to their position at the betting table.  All in all, there are three bases:

First base: 

The player occupying the leftmost position from the dealer’s point of view is said to be sitting on first base.

Second base:

A player is said to be sitting on second base if they are located in the middle of the table

Third base:

The player occupying the rightmost position from the dealer’s point of view is said to be sitting on third base. In blackjack, this position is favored by players who are counting cards. 

Base:

• A player’s sitting position in relation to the dealer.
