Japanese game developer Bandai Namco has developed a Pac-Man Video-Bingo machine. Similar to slot machines, physical bingos mimic the original bingo game and are popular in Japan.

The company is not new to the gambling scene. In 2016, they have partnered with an Australian company to develop a Pac-Man slot machine. Bandai is the developer of the original arcade classic. Therefore, making the slot exactly how the fans would have wanted it was no trouble. Naturally, the game proved to be a massive success.

Similarly to the slot game, the new bingo was made in cooperation with two other companies. As the arcade innovator back in the day, Bandai adds game-like parts to the casino games to make them more appealing.

Even though the original game was popular mainly in the 1980s, the audience of the casino games vary. One of the slot’s operators claims that the Pac-Man slot players are aged 21 to 39. The statistics show that such usage of gaming brands in slots might solve the land-based casinos’ problem with millennials.

What remains to be seen now is when Bandai Namco will enter the realm of online slots. Alternatively, they could follow the steps of Konami by partnering with iGaming developers.
